Levi’s is taking a patriotic approach to World Cup gear.
On Monday, the San Francisco-based denim brand launched the Country Ringer Tees collection, an assortment of 13 country-specific ringer tees designed not as sports merchandise, but as everyday fashion pieces inspired by the colors and spirit of each country.
“Inspired by global fan culture, the tees draw from how supporters around the world wear, remix and represent their countries,” the brand stated.
The collection includes tees for Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Germany, France, England, Spain, Nigeria, Morocco, Japan and South Korea.
Each tee is based on Levi’s classic retro ringer silhouette and designed in the color palette of its country flag. The collection includes the Retro Ringer Tee and the Retro Mini Ringer Tee. The Levi’s International Tote features all 14 country flags.
The Country Ringer Tees are part of Levi’s broader global partnership with national soccer federations. In April, the brand announced it signed a deal with the national federations of the U.S., Mexico, England and France to create fanwear tied to the FIFA World Cup.
A U.S. Ringer Tee previously launched as part of the Levi’s U.S Soccer Federation collection, spanning Trucker jackets, baggy shorts and tees, earlier this season.
The collection is available now on Levis.com, select Levi’s retail locations and wholesale partners worldwide. T-shirts retail for $35-$40. The tote retails for $60.
The FIFA World Cup kicks off on June 11.
