Jennifer Lopez started Tuesday’s “Office Romance” promo run in burgundy reptile texture before changing into black patent, turning two New York appearances into a study in pointed stilettos, monochrome color and high-shine finish.
While leaving her New York hotel on the way to the “Today” show in uptown Manhattan early Tuesday morning, the “Waiting for Tonight” singer appeared to wear Femme LA’s Whistler boot in Exotic Burgundy. The knee-high style is cut with a pointed toe, a close shaft and a 100mm metal-plated stiletto heel, with a croc-effect surface that gave the boot a tighter, more gridded texture than the larger reptile pattern above it.
Lopez wore the boots with Tom Ford’s leather Duchess biker coat in Ruby Red, a glossy leather coat with a high collar, narrow belt and embossed reptile finish, with just the white cuffs of her shirt popping out for the outfit’s lone hit of contrast. She carried a shiny Bordeaux alligator Hermès Birkin, layering wine-toned leather, reptile embossing and alligator texture in one tightly matched look.

Later in the day, Lopez changed into Hardot’s black patent leather pumps with bar detail. The Romanian label’s 110mm style is cut with a pointed toe, a slim stiletto heel and a low front, with a red interior visible along the topline and back. A barely visible clear strap ran across the top of the foot near the ankle, while a small gold-tone bar crossed the vamp between two red loops.
Lopez paired the pumps with a black belted cape coat. Keeping to all-black everything, she accessorized with a black leather bucket bag from Balmain with a slim horizontal bar across the front, repeating the shoe hardware at the hand. She added Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses, a David Webb platinum and 18-karat yellow gold diamond hinge collar and oversized earrings with a rounded gold setting and pale center stone.
The burgundy boots also fit into Lopez’s recent Femme LA run. Last month, at the beginning of her promo tour for “Office Romance,” she wore the brand’s champagne Opera sandals with a Jean Paul Gaultier fall 2004 look at Netflix’s 2026 Upfront. Just a week earlier, she wore clear Femme LA-style mules at “The Roast of Kevin Hart.”
“Office Romance” follows Lopez as Jackie Cruz, a powerful CEO who gets pulled into a workplace relationship with Daniel Blanchflower, her company’s new lawyer, played by Brett Goldstein. The Netflix romantic comedy, directed by Ol Parker, premieres June 5.
