Harry Styles has commenced his “Together, Together” world tour in Amsterdam and his on-stage wardrobe has shifted from more flamboyant choices to unique takes on menswear. His new look has incorporated footwear that nods to a larger trend: the prominence of the boxing boot.
The British singer-songwriter and ballet flat fan, who released his fourth solo studio effort, “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally” in March, showed up for one of his six Amsterdam dates on Friday dressed in a custom Calvin Klein Collection look. Outfitted in primary colors, the red, blue and yellow of his look was calmly accented by white shoes — specifically white leather Vela boxing boots. The sporty shoes, adjacent to a high-top sneaker, are ultra slim and feature lacing up the shaft. The boxing boots would appear to be an extension of the brand’s Vela loafer line, which features slim and simplistic takes on the signature dress shoe.
Styles’ shoes picked up his white leather belt, which cinched powder blue voluminous pleated trousers. He also wore a bold red Henley top and a butter yellow oversize blazer, the latter of which he ditched for part of the show.

The “American Girls” singer wouldn’t be the only major music artist to take boxing boots to the concert stage. Hayley Williams opened for Taylor Swift’s “Eras” tour in Amsterdam in 2024 wearing a blue and cream boxing-inspired style by Puma. And off stage, we’ve seen other musicians including Lizzo (in a heeled Jaded London style) and Bad Bunny (in a white Adidas style), embrace boxing shoes.
Outside of boxing boots on stage, Styles has also been a major proponent of ballet flats lately. He wore a Dior hybrid mule style at the Grammys, a black Chanel pair on the red carpet at the Brit Awards and donned the dance silhouette when he pulled double duty on “Saturday Night Live.” Now that the “Together, Together” tour has kicked off — he’s stopping in seven cities this year including a record 30 nights at Madison Square Garden in New York City — fans will continue to get a taste of his on-stage fashion sense and how it’s evolved over the years. Off-duty, Styles often laces up Adidas sneakers.
