Timothée Chalamet ditched his Timberlands and his Adidas sneakers to watch the latest New York Knicks playoff win at Madison Square Garden on Thursday night, opting for a different tried-and-true shoe style: a classic Ugg boot.
Chalamet, a born New Yorker and dedicated Knicks fan, sat courtside at game two of the eastern conference finals — where the Knicks went up 2-0 against the Cavaliers — wearing Ugg‘s men’s classic mini boot. He wore the suede, shearling-lined boot in the chestnut shade, which served as a neutral tan complement to his black Adidas track pants and Chrome Hearts zip-up hoodie. This follows his latest courtside moment when he wore wheat Timberland boots for the celebrity-attended game on Tuesday.
Chalamet’s dedication to Uggs became quite apparent in 2025 when he wore them for multiple public appearances, from Knicks games to double-duty on “Saturday Night Live” when he was promoting “A Complete Unknown.” Many NBA players have also proven themselves to be Ugg fans (several love the low-cut Tasman style).

Chalamet’s taste in footwear leans toward classic sturdy silhouettes and sneakers, and he sometimes goes for a throwback moment. He’s a major fan of Timberland 6-Inch boots, wearing them in multiple colors and often in collaboration with his beloved Los Angeles-based brand Chrome Hearts — whether he’s courtside or at a movie premiere.
He’s even modeled collaborative boots between those labels featuring orange and blue details in tribute to the Knicks. The actor also showcased two classic sneaker styles by Adidas — Stan Smiths and Samba OG sneakers — at recent Knicks playoffs games, leading up to the reveal of the World Cup short film he was featured in by the German athletic brand.
