Tessa Thompson continued her “The Fear of 13” promo run Monday in New York, leaving ABC Studios in white Jude pumps that gave a clean finish to a patchwork look.
The actress wore Jude’s Haze pumps in white leather, a 7.5 cm style with an almond toe, open upper and tapered heel. The shoe is cut low across the top of the foot, then rises into a higher back with a covered heel and dark heel tip.
Compared with the sharper, taller Jude Fame pumps Thompson has worn before, she stayed with the brand’s sculptural language but chose a softer, lower proportion. The white iteration appears to be available only through outside retailers such as Mytheresa, while Jude currently offers the silhouette in ivory for $590.

Against the Giovanna Flores fall 2025 ready-to-wear dress, the white pumps gave the mixed prints a clean punctuation. Her sleeveless dress mixed a black floral section with mustard paisley panels at the cowl neckline and skirt, a burgundy satin section through the side and back, and a purple checked strip running down one side. She carried a slouchy white pouch bag, which complemented the low-heel pumps. Black rectangular Lu Goldie sunglasses, gold rings and straight, center-parted hair kept the rest of the styling clean.
The style is the latest in Jude silhouettes for Thompson. In November, she wore the label’s white Fame pumps with an oversize black Palomo skirt suit at the 2025 WIF Honors Gala. In December, she opted for Jude’s pink silk satin Sky mule with a red Diotima Lorraine look at the Critics Choice Association’s Celebration of Black Cinema & Television. Earlier this year in February during a press conference for “The Fear of 13,” she returned to Jude’s Fame pump, this time in black patent leather with a red sweater and gray skirt.
The Haze pump is a quieter entry in that progression, and it has earned other celebrity fans aside from Thompson. Gabrielle Union has also worn the Haze pump, while she and other stars like Cameron Diaz, Simone Ashley and Bella Hadid have favored the brand’s wildly popular Fame Pump. Jude’s presence here comes after a fast rise for the brand, which was founded by Jurgita Dileviciute and Denitsa Bumbarova and won the FNAA Emerging Talent Award in 2025.
Thompson is currently promoting her Broadway debut, “The Fear of 13,” Lindsey Ferrentino’s play about Nick Yarris, who spent more than two decades on death row after a wrongful conviction. The production, directed by David Cromer and co-starring Adrien Brody, opened April 15 at the James Earl Jones Theatre and is scheduled through July 12.
