While the New York Knicks continue their winning streak, Timothée Chalamet is capturing attention courtside.
The 30-year-old actor has been present at almost every NBA playoff game — home and away — in the last few weeks, trading the Met Gala for Madison Square Garden, while pushing a fashion conversation of his own.
Where stereotypical fans are often clad in head-to-toe merch straight from the stadium catalogue, Chalamet favors high street over sport, touting a curated assortment of vintage Knicks memorabilia, baggy pants and Y2K-coded footwear that’s on par with his day-to-day style, assisted by Taylor McNeill.

The past two seasons, specifically, have seen the “Dune” star team 6-inch Timberland boots, Adidas sneakers (Stan Smiths and OG Sambas), mini Uggs, and occasionally, the Rick Owens x Converse collaboration with a collection of custom Chrome Hearts, ’90s Avirex and accessories by Nahmias, the Los Angeles-based brand behind his viral “Marty Supreme” gear. The Chrome Hearts clothing has subtly nodded to Chalamet’s team in a rotating palette of royal blue, orange and white.
But on Monday night, he blatantly repped the Knicks, celebrating their momentous feat in game four of the Easter Conference Finals in washed carpenter pants, Timberlands, an Alex Moss Diamond St Mark chain and a black leather moto jacket emblazoned with the team’s logo on the left breast pocket and down the sleeves. Under the outer layer, he wore a vintage T-shirt similar to the one Kylie Jenner sported next to him.
Coupled with his new “warrior cut” (which has spawned a 182 percent spike in search interest, according to Fresha), Chalamet’s modern-day style rivals his earlier courtside wardrobe, which mainly consisted of Prada windbreakers, ripped denim, rolled socks and his trademark skater-boy flow. For shoes, he regularly rotated through a pair of Canada Goose Cascade sneakers and Reebok Classics in dirty suede.
There was, of course, one game in 2019 (Knicks versus Detroit Pistons) that saw the “Dune” actor trade his casual dress for a Thom Browne blazer and “A Chorus Line” cap. Hats were then made a fixture in his gametime fashion before his tousled and tossed hair made an impressive comeback last season, often styled in a stark side part across his forehead.
Game four of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals on Monday night saw the New York Knicks beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in their second shutout series of the 2026 playoffs, securing their spot in the championship round for the first time in 27 years.
The monumental feat had diehard Knicks fans rejoicing across New York City and inside Cleveland’s Rocket Arena, where the usual suspects — Chalamet, Ben Stiller and Spike Lee included — relished in the mayhem alongside Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns and the rest of the team.
With one more series to go in the 2026 season, style fans are gearing up for the final few bites of Chalamet’s courtside wardrobe. Until then, see here for a closer look at the celebrity fashion from an earlier game.
