In the 30-plus years since its debut, Nike’s Air Max 95 model has had no shortage of eye-catching colorways. And yet, an upcoming release is making a strong case for the sneaker’s most head-turning look thus far.
Set to debut soon is an all-new Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble in a Woven Multi-color style. The look, which has also been nicknamed Rainbow Woven, features a full colorway of White/Purple Dynasty/Pearl Gray/Light Charcoal. However, the sneaker’s description is somewhat misleading, as there’s far more color on the upcoming release than just purple.

While the regal shade does cover some of the style’s key components, including its mini Swoosh branding, insole and a portion of the tongue Air Max logo, the true highlight of the pair is its intricately woven wide panels. And while the upcoming multi-color look is a new one for Nike, this isn’t the first time the Beaverton, Ore.-based sportswear brand has issued a woven Air Max 95. A Volt-accented style was released at retail in 2019, and the woven treatment has also previously been offered as a limited-edition option on Nike’s customizable By You platform. But this time around, it appears that the brand may be referencing the colorful looks of shoes like the Air Footscape Woven.
The Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble Woven Multi-color is set to be released this summer, with select regions advertising a June 12 launch date. The sneaker’s style code is IB3695-100 and it will be priced at $190 from Nike’s Snkrs app and select Nike Sportswear retailers.
