No one would refer to the Nike Air Max 95 as rustic, but that’s about to change with a new variant with the help of some paisley and earth tones.
The Nike Air Max 95 Paisley sees its signature wavy stripes get a bandana print through laser-etching. Each of the panels features a mismatched print as the colors run from a light tan to brown and finally black from top to bottom. Black and white anchor the remainder of the upper, with the former used for a leather toe tip, the tongue and eyestay loops. White mesh and suede are used at the top of the upper and heel, respectively, and a black sole unit hosts a blue Air Max unit at the heel with Big Bubble proportions.
Nike has ramped up the release slate for the Air Max 95 since beginning the sneaker’s 30th anniversary celebrations in 2025, the center of which has been the return of larger Air Max units more in line with the model’s original proportions. The increased volume in variants has included a number of high-profile collaborations, the return of several classic colorways and numerous novel treatments in palette, materials and prints.
