Yara Shahidi, Amy Poehler, Rhea Seehorn and more stars walked the red carpet at the 86th annual Peabody Awards held at the Beverly Wilshire on Sunday in Los Angeles.
It was a big night for a costars reunion for Shahidi. She ran into her “Grown-ish” costar Halle Bailey at the event, as well as her “Black-ish” TV dad Anthony Anderson. The “The Sun Is Also a Star” actress, who was styled by Nell Kalonji, wore a Loewe fall 2026 white feather-textured halter dress to present at the awards.
The dress featured a wispy, feathery texture that created fluid movement. The design had a bird-like appeal, which Shahidi said brought out her “inner swan.” The fun dress was styled with strappy white sandals. The high-heel sandals featured a sleek ankle strap and minimal toe detailing.
The shoes featured a squared toe and four connecting straps over the vamp and held together with a metallic silver bucklet and the center. The shoes featured a slightly sculpted heel measuring around four inches.

The event is administered by the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, while the Peabody Board of Jurors is comprised of media industry professionals, as well as journalists, critics and scholars, appointed to six-year terms.
All programs that are nominated and win Peabody Awards must receive a unanimous vote by the Board of Jurors. This year, Peabody tapped stand-up comedian and award-winning writer Mo Amer to host the ceremony.
The star-studded event brought together the 2026 winners and special honorees, including Poehler; screenwriter Sterlin Harjo, who won the Trailblazer Award; James L. Brooks, who took home the inaugural Industry Icon Award, and the Institutional Award for historic programming went to PBS Kids. Others in attendance included Ben Affleck, Jimmy Kimmel, Mara Brock Akil and more.
