Heidi Klum channeled summertime styling in her Christopher Esber dress on Tuesday for a Calzedonia Summer Beachclub event at km 689 Cologne Beach Club in Cologne, Germany.
The longtime model wore Esber’s Orion dress in a shade of Malbec. Crafted with freeform lines, the dress was designed with hand-sculpted pleats that traced the plunging V-shpaed neckline and extended to racerback straps at the back.
A rich rayon fabric added a textural element to the overall look, heightening the dress’ silhouette, which fell into a fluid, gathered skirt from a drop waist, moving with ease. Klum accessorized the Australian couturier’s dress with gold jewelry pieces, including bracelets and rings, among other delicate pieces. As for glam, Klum wore her hair with a middle part and cascading waves. Makeup highlights included a smokey eye.

Since founding his eponymous brand in 2010, Esber’s popularity and profile has grown, especially among high-profile figures and celebrities who’ve worn his designs. Like Klum, Emma Roberts and Rachel McAdams have styled pieces by the Australian designer in the last year.
Esber was the recipient of the Grand Prize at the 2024 ANDAM Fashion Award, receiving the honor roughly one year after his Paris Fashion Week debut. At the time, an opportunity to “access ateliers in Paris [and] make all my ideas come to life” was Esber’s goal.
The designer’s most recent collection, his fall 2026 ready-to-wear offering, debuted as part of Paris Fashion Week in March 2026, taking inspiration from the automotive world and David Cronenberg’s 1996 erotic thriller “Crash,” Esber’s designs were elevated to a sharper, more tailored aesthetic.
That fall 2026 collection was quite antithetical to Klum’s flowing dress at Tuesday’s event. Merging resortwear with sensuality and sinuous lines, the look beckoned the forthcoming summer season.
