Denim has increasingly become a recurring motif on the Air Force 1 Low and in the wider world of sneakers, and the material will soon make its way to the AF1’s most infamous colorway.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Triple Black is set for a denim and suede makeover this summer. Instead of a full takeover, denim is applied throughout each of the overlays with a slightly faded finished. Matching suede is then used for the vamp and quarter panels, and the laces and midsole likewise appear in black that looks like it already has some life under its belt. As is the case in the standard leather build for the Air Force 1 Triple Black, the only deviation comes from the silver-tone metal lace dubrae.

As the counterpart to the Triple White colorway, the Triple Black Air Force 1 is simultaneously held up as a classic and described as a go-to for nefarious characters. The treatment is set to get another new take on Nike SB‘s recently debuted retooling of the sneaker for skateboarding.
The denim Nike Air Force 1 Low Triple Black will release in July through Nike’s website and select third-party retailers. Pricing is set at $125.
