Daisy Edgar-Jones kept the sparkle running all the way to the floor Monday at Cannes, wearing crystal-covered Aquazzura sandals to the “Fjord” screening.
The actress arrived at Palais des Festivals in the Italian label’s Tell Me sandal, a barely there evening style with a pointed open toe, slim ankle strap and stiletto heel. Edgar-Jones’ pair came in a pale metallic finish, with narrow crystal-lined bands crossing over the vamp and peeking out from beneath the dress as she walked the Cannes red carpet.
The shoes picked up the silver embellishment of her dress, which came from Balenciaga’s fall 2026 collection. The sheer, pale nude design was covered in beading and paillettes, with a high neckline, sleeveless cut and deep side opening. As for accessories, she kept the shimmering through line with Boucheron jewelry, including Lierre De Paris earrings and a Quatre Radiant Edition necklace, which dangled down her back.

Egdar-Jones is far from the only star to wear shoes from the Italian luxury label at this year’s festival. Gillian Anderson opted for the metallic gold So Nude heels with Huishan Zhang, while Tara Sutaria wore another shimmering silhouette, the Crystal Lover sandal, with her pearl-white Vivienne Westwood gown.
The Tell Me sandal has been moving through celebrity styling beyond the festival circuit, too. Olivia Rodrigo wore the crystal-crossed Aquazzura style during her “Saturday Night Live” host-and-musical-guest turn in early May, pairing it with a custom pale pink satin Nina Ricci dress. Taylor Swift also changed into the satin, crystal-strapped sandal inside the Dolby Theatre at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in late March, after arriving on the red carpet in a different pair.
The 2026 Cannes Film Festival is in its final days, with the 79th edition running through May 23. Still ahead on the official lineup are titles including Nicolas Winding Refn’s “Her Private Hell” and Andy Garcia’s “Diamond,” before the festival closes Saturday with its awards ceremony and Palme d’Or announcement.
