Brooke Shields returned to a familiar silver pump formula on Monday in New York, arriving outside “Live With Kelly and Mark” in Gianvito Rossi stilettos while promoting her new mystery-comedy series, “You’re Killing Me.”
Shields wore Gianvito Rossi’s Gianvito 105 pumps in silver napa, one of the label’s metallic iterations of its signature pointed styles, which comes in suede, patent and PVC finishes. She wore the stilettos with a double-denim look from Thom Browne: a cropped denim jacket with matching cuffed jeans, plus a white dress shirt and striped tie.
While the look leaned slightly school uniform, the choice brought Shields back to a combination she has already made part of her New York daytime press style playbook: metallic Gianvito Rossi pumps with matching menswear-leaning separates. In January 2025, she wore the same pumps with a gray suit in New York for a “Good Morning America” stop.

Metallic silver shoes have been a steady celebrity through line this spring, but mostly after dark. At the end of March, Brie Larson wore silver pumps with a custom Rodarte gown at the Kyoto premiere of “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie,” carrying Princess Rosalina’s aqua-and-silver palette down to the shoes. Tiffany Haddish wore gunmetal pointed pumps with a deep-cut vamp at Netflix’s Kevin Hart roast recently, while Dua Lipa chose silver Le Silla sandals with an archival Jean Paul Gaultier dress during Cannes over the weekend.
“You’re Killing Me” stars Shields as Allie Chandler, a mystery novelist who teams with a young true-crime podcaster, played by Amalia Williamson, to solve real-life crimes in a small coastal Maine town. The show premieres Monday on Acorn TV.
