Renan Botelho de Carvalho is the Deputy Digital Director for WWD, reporting on trending news and celebrity style. He began his career in digital media in 2009 as a writer for MSN Entertainment in Brazil. Since then, he has contributed to publications such as Yahoo!, Caras and Rolling Stone BR. Before joining the company in August 2022, Renan worked as a digital marketing coordinator for fashion photographers and studios in New York City. He received his Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the Methodist University of São Paulo in 2012 and has specialized in Transmedia Storytelling at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo and in Dramatic Arts at the Superior School of Arts Célia Helena.
