Nike has continued to sell out of its mule through each release since the silhouette debuted in January, and the next opportunity to purchase it will deliver a new build.
The Nike Mind 001 “Hyper Royal” will unveil a Flyknit tongue in less than a week. Although the area previously employed another knit material with perforations, it was thicker and had more of a spongey feel. The switch to Nike’s signature knit technology should prove thinner and more flexible while introducing a new aesthetic. Flyknit obviates the need for perforations in the name of breathability.
Also promising intrigue is the colorway itself, which opts for a gradient on its foam mold that runs from black to blue to match its outsole. The defining nodules underfoot arrive in volt green, and the vibrant color reappears on the Swoosh embroidered onto the Flyknit.
