The “Hedda” star was dressed in a look from the fall 2026 collection, which was initially showcased in February at the Ferragamo fashion show held at the Triennale Milano as part of Milan Fashion Week fall 2026. Thompson opted for a cupro-linen brocade dress with hip detail.

The midi length hemline on the piece allowed for the shoes to be on full display. While the dress was paired with all-gold mules on the runway, the “Thor” star opted for the new Ferragamo mule wedges in black satin and patent leather with gold opanka construction on the counter, also from the fall 2026 collection to the gala.

The shoes were a sort of hybrid mix of mary jane pumps with a mule, a shoe that is currently trending and a style Ferragamo has been producing heavily as of late. Thompson’s shoes featured a pointed toe design with an elongated silhouette, and a mary jane-like strap that cross over the top of the foot. The shoes sit on a short, wedge-like heel that measures around four inches. The back of the foot is completely exposed thanks to the shoes’ mule, slip-on design. The collection and the shoes were designed by creative director Maximilian Davis.
