QUIET EXIT: John Galantic has quietly left his role as chief executive officer of Tod’s, WWD has learned.
He joined the Italian brand in September 2024, shortly after the delisting of Tod’s Group. He remained behind the scenes during his time at Tod’s, rarely seen at the brand’s shows or events.
Diego Della Valle, who held the role before, continued to be chairman of the group, and his brother Andrea remained vice chairman. No successor has been named for Galantic, who has returned to the U.S. for family reasons, a market source said.
Before joining Tod’s, Galantic was president and chief operating officer of Chanel Inc., exiting the company at the end of June 2023.
